Amethyst has always been associated with intuition and a strong will, it was not for nothing that priests wore it (and still wear it today in rings and crosses) because they considered it a strong helper to strengthen;will and connection to higher spiritual principles. A great stone for meditation, for strengthening personal will, great for meditation before bed.
